This actually happened about 2 weeks ago, and her eye is all better now. She was playing catch in our yard with her friend next door. She was actually doing really good throwing and catching the softball, but obviously one got away from her and hit her in the corner of her left eye and nose. Her nose started bleeding, which we got to stop pretty quickly and then we put some ice on her eye. These pictures were taken a couple of days after it happend, so its on its way down. But the left eye was pretty swollen and purple ( Not as bad as my nephew Jeremy's was after a baseball game, that was REALLY BAD!) but this was her first real one. I was surprised the next morning when her right eye was bruised too! She has played catch with her friend again. She started out having her friend roll her the ball and then Bethanee would throw it back, but by the end of the day she had her friend thowing it to her agian. Thats my girl! Always get right back into it! A true sports player at heart :)
